SNH Designs began in 2018 in London, originally formed by three friends working from a garden shed, taking on small residential projects while building experience in the industry. Like many early practices, the business evolved — and following the COVID period, the original partnership came to a natural close.
In 2021, SNH Designs Ltd was formally established as an independent practice, founded with a clear focus on residential structural engineering. The aim was simple: to provide homeowners with reliable, well-engineered designs that were practical to build, clearly explained, and fully compliant with Building Regulations.
Later in 2022, the business relocated to Buckinghamshire, setting up in Milton Keynes. It was here that SNH Designs truly grew — expanding its client base, refining its processes, and building strong working relationships with local architects, builders, and building control officers.
Almost 5 years on, with nearly 200 residential projects successfully delivered, SNH Designs is now a well-established structural engineering consultancy trusted by clients across the region. SNH Designs continues to grow through repeat clients, word-of-mouth referrals, and long-term professional relationships.
